Cold, Cold, Cold. Gulf temps have dropped to 52 to 58
degrees in shallow, 60 degrees well offshore. Be sure to
pack a wet suit. Line fisherman have reported little luck inshore as the bite is off due to the cold. Offshore in warmer waters 370', big gags in the 60 and 90 pound class are being taken. Vis is good depending on the wind, so let's go diving! Additional info at: www.scubatampa.com/faqsgdive.html |

Manatees
are everywhere! On Thursday 1/23/2003 the
students of Mills Springs Academy. Alpharetta, Georgia
and Capt. John visited the manatees at Crystal River.
There were over 100 manatees at Three Sisters Spring. The
kids had a blast diving and snorkeling and took lots of
priceless photos. The cold weather has brought a record number on manatees in. The colder the day the more manatee you will see. After the dives a dip in the old hot tub is just the ticket. Glenica (sugar), the Capt. and Michelle (honey). Additional info on manatees at: www.scubatampa.com/manatee.html and www.scubatampa.com/manateefacts.html |
